Over the last 20 years she has filled critically important roles, primarily for law firms but also for non-legal professional services firms and associations.
Prior to her consulting career Michele practised as a lawyer at one of Australia’s leading law firms and also held a number of senior management and marketing roles within the public and private sectors.
Michele’s most recent focus has been in placing partners with national and international law firms. She has also placed candidates at the C-level within top corporations as well as non-executive directors on the Boards of ASX-listed companies. On the corporate side her work has included the appointment of General and Legal Counsel as well as Company Secretaries and Compliance Officers.
Michele’s career history includes the establishment and management of the Sydney office for a Melbourne-based recruitment firm where she specialised in consulting to professional services organisations.
Her in-depth exposure in the legal area translates into an exceptional appreciation of legal client needs in regard to talent search with an outstanding ability to identify leading practitioners in the sector.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of NSW. As one of the first female graduates of the first cohort of law students in 1975, Michele was honoured in 2023 by the University naming a lecture theatre after her.
